Researchers find 3rd breast cancer gene

Danish researchers say they have isolated a new gene that is linked to the development of breast cancer. A study of some 9,000 Danes participating in the Copenhagen City Heart Study found a mutation in the newly discovered CHEK2 gene can triple the risk of developing breast cancer, the Copenhagen Post reported.
